City College - May 3 - sur le podium
Marina savoure sa 2ième place - Félicitations à Joana qui s'est retrouvée avec des adversaires plus agées.

City College May 3 2009
San Francisco – Dimanche 3 Mai 2009.
22 Judokas du lycée ont participé au tournoi organisé par le City College of San Francisco. Parmi ces 22 compétiteurs, 5 effectuaient leur première compétition ; Alexandre Bonville (CP, 1st), Alex Nicolas (K3), Pimberley Olson (CP, 1st), Théo Maetz (CE1 – 2nd) et Léa Nayak (CP, 1st). Comme dans chaque tournoi et suivant l’état d’esprit de l’athlète le jour de la compétition, certains d’entre eux ont effectué de très belles performances et d’autres ont fait des contre-performances. Le judoka doit apprendre à gérer ses propres frustrations quand il ne performe comme il le souhaiterait, il est souvent en colère avec lui-même et se retrace dans son esprit ses combats et analyse ses erreurs et tout cela dans le but de faire mieux la prochaine fois, à ne pas reproduire les mêmes erreurs et à s’entraîner plus dur.
Félicitations à tous nos judokas. Le prochain tournoi aura lieu le samedi 16 mai prochain au Boys & Girls de South San Francisco.

22 judokas from the Lycée entered the City College Tournament. Among those 22 competitors, 5 of them were fighting for the first time; Alexandre Bonville (CP, 1st), Alex Nicolas (K3), Pimberley Olson (CP, 1st), Théo Maetz (CE1 – 2nd), and Léa Nayak (CP, 1st). As it happens at each tournament and depending on the competitor’s mindset on that day, some of them did very well and some others had some disappointing performance. The judoka has to learn on how to deal with his/her frustrations when performance is not up to par, he is often angry at himself, rethinks about his/her matches and analyzes his/her mistakes with the only objective to get better at the next competition, not to reproduce the same mistakes and to train harder.
Congratulations to all our players. The next tournament will take place on Saturday may 16th, 2008 at the South San Francisco Boys & Girls.
